While reading Sri Sai Satcharitra,
Chp.15, you will come across "Kowpeeneswara Mandiram". It promoted my desire
of visiting this temple, at Thane. As was narrated in Satcharitra by the
time I visited this temple "Hari Katha gaanam" was being rendered by one
Haridas as a part of Ram Navami ustavalu. I recorded that in a short video.
You will find Lord Kowpeeneswara, Rama, Dattatreya, Anjaneya Swamy, and
Kali Amma being worshipped in the temple. Nandi before Kowpeeneswara, is
so attractive. Unlike other Siva Temples, here Lord Kowpeeneswara is dressed
with cloth all around- a striking differance.
